Generell l\u00e4sst sich die Metallurgie in zwei Kategorien unterteilen: Pyrometallurgie und Hydrometallurgie.<br>Die Pyrometallurgie besteht darin, das Erz oder Konzentrat unter Hochtemperaturbedingungen (unter Verwendung der durch Brennstoffverbrennung oder elektrische Energie erzeugten W\u00e4rme oder der durch eine bestimmte chemische Reaktion freigesetzten W\u00e4rme) einer Reihe physikalischer und chemischer Ver\u00e4nderungen zu unterziehen, um das Metall von Verunreinigungen zu trennen und das Metall zu gewinnen. Die Hydrometallurgie hingegen ist eine Wissenschaft und Technologie, die ein Auslaugungsmittel verwendet, um wertvolle Metallkomponenten in Erz, Konzentrat, Kalzinat und anderen Materialien in einer L\u00f6sung zu l\u00f6sen und sie dann in einer neuen festen Phase auszuf\u00e4llen, um so die Metalltrennung, -anreicherung und -extraktion durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obwohl die Hydrometallurgie noch nicht ausgereift ist, gewinnt sie aufgrund der sinkenden Qualit\u00e4t der Rohstoffe und der zunehmend strengeren Umweltauflagen immer mehr an Bedeutung. Die Hydrometallurgie bietet viele Vorteile: Sie kann Rohstoffe unterschiedlicher Qualit\u00e4t, auch komplexe Mineralien, verarbeiten; die Ausbeute an Multimetallen ist gut, je h\u00f6her der Wert der Rohstoffe, desto besser; zudem wird die Luftverschmutzung reduziert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schlammpumpen f\u00fcr die metallurgische Industrie werden haupts\u00e4chlich in der Aufbereitung und Hydrometallurgie eingesetzt. Sie erm\u00f6glichen eine hohe Effizienz und erleichtern die Reaktion. Obwohl es prozessspezifische Unterschiede geben kann, lassen sich die Hauptanwendungen der Pumpen wie folgt zusammenfassen: L\u00f6sungspumpen, Speisepumpen, Unterlaufpumpen, Umw\u00e4lzpumpen, Kondensatpumpen, Zwangsumw\u00e4lzpumpen und Abwasserpumpen.
