how do i check the pump rotation?

Rotation is indicated on the head of the pump; you’ll see an arrow going counterclockwise. This is the direction you want the pump spinning. If you turn the motor around and look at the backside and remove the cap, you’ll see a shaft located in the center. When the pump is running, you will want to see the shaft spinning clockwise. That will verify proper pump rotation on your system.
