What is an end suction pump? An end suction pump is typically a horizontal, single-stage end suction centrifugal pump with a single impeller.
The suction port of an end suction pump is typically located at the front of the pump, and the discharge port is located above the pump, typically at a 90-degree angle to the suction port.
When the pump is started, fluid enters the pump from one end. Centrifugal force from the impeller increases the pressure and discharges the fluid from the top of the pump. This compact design offers high pumping efficiency and simplified maintenance.
