Rubber
Cover Plate Liner

The Rubber Cover Plate Liner in a slurry pump serves to protect the pump body from wear, particularly at the inlet and outlet areas.

This liner is typically located on the exterior of the pump casing and absorbs the impact and friction from the slurry, extending the pump’s lifespan and reducing maintenance costs and downtime caused by wear.

Rubber liners offer effective protection, improve efficiency, and are a cost-effective, practical solution.

Rubber
Cover Plate Liner
Overview

The Cover Plate Liner is typically made from wear-resistant materials such as rubber or high-chrome alloy. It is securely installed inside the pump casing and works together with other liner components, such as the frame liner and impeller, to form a complete wear-resistance system.

During pump operation, the slurry comes into direct contact with the liner, which absorbs the abrasion and impact forces from the slurry. As a result, the pump casing remains intact and protected.

When the Rubber Cover Plate Liner becomes worn after prolonged use, it can be replaced individually without needing to replace the entire pump casing, significantly reducing maintenance costs.

The Rubber Cover Plate Liner protects the pump casing and key components from slurry impact and wear, ensuring stable, long-term operation.

Excellent Wear Resistance

Rubber’s elasticity and toughness effectively resist wear from solid particles, making it ideal for fine particles and highly corrosive slurries.

Outstanding Corrosion Resistance

Rubber materials are highly resistant to various chemical agents, allowing the pump to operate reliably in acidic, alkaline, or other corrosive environments, protecting the pump casing from chemical damage.

Impact Absorption

The elasticity of rubber cushions the impact of high-velocity slurry, protecting the pump casing and other key components, and extending the pump's service life.

Cost-Effectiveness

Compared to metal liners, rubber liners are more affordable, easier to replace, and require lower maintenance costs, making them a practical long-term solution.
